Maybe it’s my age, but I’ll linger over a cup of coffee to discuss some topics like loneliness which seems to be plaguing a lot of folks today including myself. I was married for 30 years and now I’ve been divorced for half the time I was married (15 years if you’re bad at math). I’m through the empty nest; it’s just me and my dog. I can come and go as I please. Now, about a year and a half before I really wanted to, I’m facing retirement due to unforeseen circumstances. So…let’s have that cup of coffee.

I found your Substack because it gave me news about Reiner. Every day a new beginning.

I sense an inner loneliness. Maybe those days are almost over?

I recently retired from working half a century doing jobs that were mostly unfulfilling and gave me no end of stress. I am still trying to come to terms with leaving all that behind. Like a snake sheds its skin, it doesn't come off quickly and cleanly. Eventually it will. You're nearly there so just hang in there.

Well I say “Wonderful Elsa” to your Shift of wanting to focus on what makes for positive and better interactions and relationships, etc. Your prior work has played an important role in supporting Awareness about injustices to people and situations that have been very damaging. That’s how I got to know of you as I wanted to know about what was happening with Reiner. And now you are in step with making your unique contribution to the biggest SHIFT of humanity as we all, in our own way and time, Ascend into Remembering who we really are and manifest a world living Love, Compassion, and Kindness. No wonder this is a bit of a time of wondering for you……just like when you started Substack…….you are starting a new phase which takes unfolding. Your creativity and caring will carry you forward and you will continue to make valued contributions. Good on ya!!! Linda
