I’m one of those people who tends to wake up full of energy. So what was that song doing, playing in my head: Waking up is hard to do I recognized the melody. Happy, upbeat, bouncy, though about a potential break-up - Breaking up is hard to do. (I’ll give link at the end to the original song.)
What I would do for energy in the morning, or afternoon, or ever. 😂 It comes and goes and stimulants help. ( legal. Of course) I have M.S. & anyone with auto- immune issues will agree; being tired sucks! But.. I’m awake. 😳 So there’s that, and that’s more than some that just keep pushing their heads around under the sand. That would really suck.
The truth is hard, but the day the pieces fell together for me, was excruciatingly & exhilarating. How can such horrible realities create polar opposite feelings?
I loved your poem and love the song. I had this song on a 45, back in the day. Funny thing is I can’t remember what was on the other side. Hmm..
Don’t give up, waking people around you. I was one that flipped views AFTER I received 2 Moderna’s. M.S. foundation ( of course), recommended it & I felt lucky to find it so early.
I also grew up loving my country & trusting my gov. Boy, have I learned a lot in the last 4 years.
