I still think Muhammed (and Jesus, and Buddha) would be very upset with what they had in mind. I think none had the idea of starting a 'religion'. I think they were just wise men, who had an AHA moment, and lived it. I think none of them wanted any followers, but may be a handful. I certainly think, that none wanted the institution that is based in their names. I think all 3 (and all the other enlightened men and women) would be totally appalled by what has been constructed in their names. And they would not recognize their teachings in the man made mess that happened!
For me and that will give a third shot at what both answer from elsa and david gave, i think buddha is for bodibrahma and all the others what lao tseu is for confusius. That confusius set a philosophik university for the masses, as jesus story set ground for another evolutive burst of society, same go for muhamed who simply follows the same pattern given by the start of 3 mono religion, all based on zoroastrism. If they are mad of the result? That i totaly agree, but who doesnt one day or the other feel that way towards their own creation. I plant a flower , i love it, winter comes, she dies i hate it. We human were the winter to their sunny moment.
Thats a heavy subject were evryone is always defending their point of view strongly. So i am just saying this in a carefree manner.😅😇
I see you are not paying attention to the "plants." Some plants are deadly - let's say some poisonous mushrooms. Very important to pay attention to the reality of the different plants. Watch it! For example, join Islam without paying attention and learn that, if you want to leave, every adherent of the religion has the right - according to the religion - to kill you. What you say sounds fine. It isn't.
Hehehe, thats crazy stuff made by us humans,nothing divin there, i got a tips for the mushrooms, i dont eat any. Literaly and metaphoricly, i was born out of these sphere, and i am learning them. But not eating them.
Only food i love is prana and sadly my coffee. You know, christian did tortured cornelius and johan the wits for nothin, they were hung backward cut pieces of flesh and scattered trough europe for a king demented soul…evry religion do bad stuff, while every faith promotes good stuff. from payan sacrificing goats for good harvest, to christian burning knights of demolay and legalising torture for century’s….all aproved slavery btw, all religion did. So wich fruit/mushroom is good? The one in my bushes simply. I got literaly friends in all religion and being a faithfull fellow without any links to any of them…does that makes me a macon? hahahah i think not, that makes me a child trying to find is lost father like all of us.

Ingrid: There are many (me included) have found there is NO documented/written history of a Jesus except in the Bible. Perhaps Jesus and the Bible was/is a way to control the masses by an ethnic group?
Again, important to check what can be known and not stay with our imaginings. I know someone who spent years researching and came to the conclusion there was no single Jesus figure.
Ingrid, I can tell you know very little - nothing perhaps - about Mohammed, who very much wanted to start a religion, and who once he had the capacity to use violence, was all in favor of using it to conquer, including through mass murder (like of all the men of the last Jewish tribe in the town where he was residing - the women were raped, including one by Mohammed - see the Sira and Hadiths). According to his beliefs, the only way to be sure of getting into paradise was to die in jihad battle against infidels.
In general, Ingrid, it is vital to search out facts, and not stay with fantasies, like your imaginings which go against the facts.
