Sometimes there is amazing serendipity. I had barely published my piece on not being able to easily find William Wilberforce on the web when I got an email from a reader. He and his wife happened to be in Westminster Abbey, where Wilberforce is interred, just when he read my piece.
I totally agree. Hurray for serendipity. In fact, I've been thinking further about serendipity - how some of us "amplify" serendipity and other people minimize the impact of serendipity on their lives.
Yes! I’m totally in the *always* amplify serendipity slice. Your thoughts on those who minimize its impact are intriguing…and I can’t help but prescribe an open heart and a more wonderfully expansive view of Life. (He said, feeling wonderfully expansive 🥰)
P.S. Elsa, I hope you’ve seen the “Amazing Grace” Wilberforce film … if not, do not delay a moment longer. Tis one of my top faves of all time. ♥️
I will be watching the movie this weekend! I didn't know of it until a couple of days ago. It's definitely a must-see - especially for me, I know it shows what one person can do.
