WHERE'S THE EXPERT???? Several times recently, the words: WHERE'S THE EXPERT? have gone off inside me. Flat earth claims. Israel Gaza conflict. Matt Ehret claims.
Why do I want an expert? Sometimes I’m out of my depth - I don’t have the expertise. Still I know enough to know something does not feel right in what I’m reading and hearing. Often something is claimed that goes against some fact I know (a fact is a verified fact-claim).
I can’t be an expert on everything. But I can have expertise enough both to have the sense that some claim does not feel right, and to be able to do considerable evaluating of people who claim their only agenda is truth. Even if I come to evaluate, based on their openness to facts, that someone is reliable, that doesn’t mean I stop questioning. But when I question people whose agenda has demonstrated itself to be truth, they give me more answers backing their truth-claims. So what I believe becomes ever more solidly based on a foundation of facts.
Recently my inner shit-detector went off around flat earth claims, Israel Gaza conflict claims (Palestinians all good), and Matt Ehret claims.
Where’s the expert??? I want an expert!! Each time that was my response.
With the flat earth claims I turned to Andrew Johnson and interviewed him. I have found him fact-centered around 9/11, aliens, UFOs, and more. I will be putting the new interview with him online soon.
In this case, I was out of my depths. I wanted a reliable expert. And yes, he answered my questions.
With the Israel Gaza conflict, I was particularly struck by a pro-Palestinian video sent by someone who is a major truth-verifier - but this person sent something that showed no awareness of crucial facts - facts that I know. For instance the video denigrated Tommy Robinson, a major voice for those against the British overwhelmingly Islamic “grooming” gangs (rape and prostitution gangs) of poor white girls, gangs operating for over 30 years and almost totally ignored by the police and social services for decades. Estimates are that about one million girls and young women have been “groomed” by these gangs.
The denigration of Tommy Robinson tied with wider denigrations. This was just one instance of anti-factual denigration. (I know - most people have paid attention to other claims.)
You’ve been psy-op’d, I wrote to the person who sent the video.
In this case, I am an expert. Not a top expert, like Bill Warner, Robert Spencer, Tommy Robinson, Mark Durie - but I have a lot of expertise.
An aside. It’s very important for all of us to be aware that a general pro-truth attitude does not protect us from psy-ops. I was long aware of the psy-op around Islam before I learned that I had been taken in by the psy-op around climate.
A clue for all of us. If we’ve been psy-op’d (brainwashed) around something, we may respond to claims that go against our beliefs with what I call inner hissy fits. Anyway, I had an inner hissy fit any time someone said something against my beliefs about climate. We may also tune out the discordant information. Or we may get angry at whoever is saying it and denigrate them.
Now, on to Matt Ehret. If you’re not familiar with him, he knows masses and masses of facts about history and current events. He has masses and masses of answers and explanations. He’s written books. He’s interviewed all over the place, including by Reiner Fuellmich.
So why am I not wildly enthusiastic?
He obviously knows a wealth of facts. But he has come to conclusions that go against the research findings of, for instance, Diana West, in her meticulously documented American Betrayal. They can’t both be right. If Diana West’s conclusions from the facts are correct, then Matt Ehret’s are wrong. Matt doesn’t even mention Diana’s interpretation of the evidence. In fact, he leaves out a lot that’s in her book.
What he says also goes against what I’ve read from, for instance, Bill Warner and Robert Spencer. Again, they can’t both be right.
A core thing. One fact that does not fit a narrative may well destroy the whole narrative - change it substantially, anyway. It’s like with a detective novel. You find one overlooked clue. It may change everything - like whodunnit.
I remember the first time it happened for me, in what I’ve come to consider the truth movement. Up until 2006, I accepted the frequently iterated claim that Islam is a religion of peace, hijacked by a few nutcases … until I wrote about this in one of my first online posts and someone answered: No, it’s not a religion of peace. Here are quotes from the quran, and appended maybe 8 quotes that showed Islam to be anything but a religion of peace. I wrote back, asked for more evidence - and got back a mass of further quotes from the quran. So, Islam was not a religion of peace. Facts from the quran threw out the non-fact-based fact-claim. That led to loads and loads of further searching and learning.
Here I just want to say: be alert to any fact-claim that goes against what you believe to be factual.
You may have a lot to learn - as I did with the claim that Islam was a religion of peace.
Or you may know something that is fact-based. In that case, it’s time to expose, to debunk current false fact-claims. Or anyway, it’s time to start a discussion - if those disagreeing with you are open to discussion. My finding about people holding that Islam is a religion of peace was that many were not open to discussion.
Some of Matt Ehret’s claims go against what I learned from Diana West and others. That may mean: time to debunk, expose Matt Ehret. But I didn’t know enough. Then, luckily, I sent out a talk by Ehret and an expert answered me with details and analysis. I will be posting that.
So a triple debunking, exposing:
Debunking, exposing Matt Ehret with the analysis of someone with the appropriate expertise.
Debunking, exposing at least part of the pro-Palestinian narrative. starting with my own decade-long exploration of Islam.
And debunking, exposing the flat earth claim, with the expertise of Andrew Johnson.
Stay tuned.

Hi Elsa, I understand the desire to ask an expert, unfortunately, most of us have been mentally knee-capped, by the education system and don't trust our own powers of reasoning enough any more. In my opinion, it is quite easy to disprove the spinning globe theory, using basic logic. If you were standing 10 metres from the North Pole, you would be moving around the Earth's axis at approximately 2.6 metres per hour, whereas if you were standing at the Equator, you would be moving at approximately 1670,000 meters per hour. The enormous difference in force, generated by these two speeds cannot by equally counteracted by a constant force. Picture a carousel, the further out you are on it, the faster you are moving. Yet we are told that gravity is holding everything in place and that it is a constant . But if that were the case, you would be either squashed like a bug at the North Pole or flung into space at the equator. QED the gravity/spinning ball theory is false.
Pretty sure you don't have one "fact" the earth is a globe. You've been lied to since you were a child staring at the crystal (earth) ball in your kindergarten class and were kept programmed ever since.
