What does it do to us, the "music soup" we're immersed in? South Pacific vs 8 Days a Week vs Heavy Metal vs ...
A few days ago, I wanted something outside my everyday diet of info upon info about what’s going on - dangers, evil plots, evil doings. Songs from an album from childhood came to mind:
Songs and more songs. From South Pacific. Also from The Sound of Music. My top favorite album was probably My Fair Lady.
I could have danced all night
and still have danced some more
I could have spread my wings
and done a thousand things
I’ve never done before
I’ll never know
what made it so
exciting
But all at once
my heart took flight
Then l thought of songs from my growing-up time - the Beatles, especially:
I liked the music, loved it even - could never relate to the hysteria - hundreds of thousands of screaming fans. It made no sense to me.
Also, thinking back, I see the music did not move me like the childhood music. I felt happy listening to it, upbeat - not touched, not feeling loving feelings, not “heart-warmed.”. It was not meant to touch me in that way, I believe - unlike the music of South Pacific and The Sound of Music and My Fair Lady, which was intended to catch and hold the audience, often in a romantic dream.
And then, here’s a heavy metal compilation from 2019. What does this do to listeners? And the even bigger question: WHO is doing this to “us” - to our society?
I only listened to 30 seconds. More than enough.

I just know I feel moved to spend more time in the world of creativity.

Some schizophrenics listen to loud music/heavy metal to drown out the voices in their head.
It's all part of the plan! Fill people with bad vibes / frequencies. The old frequencies were actually healthy for our bodies and the new ones are not. And just look at the images to go with the music. No beauty just basterdized bodies etc.
