What Sound of Freedom does is amazing. People FEEL. Outrage. Horror. Grief. These are natural responses to the horrors shown. They want to do something.
Over 7000 people were so moved by the story that they contributed to the funding of the film. When you watch the credits, the list of the contributors goes on and on. I was touched. Tears came to my eyes, watching the list go on and on. It moved me to see all the people who care. And this is just a tiny fraction of the people who care.
I think of the powerful anti-slavery nineteenth-century novel, Harriet Beecher Stowe’s Uncle Tom’s Cabin. It touched people, moved them, galvanized the anti-slavery movement. The book was, for a time, the world’s best-seller - outselling even the Bible. It is my sense that the book brought forth a natural response to the horrors of slavery, like Sound of Freedom brings forth a natural response.
Most of the time people are too numbed down to feel. Another half a dozen “died suddenly” deaths of sports stars. Oh well. Another half a dozen “died suddenly” deaths of celebrities. Oh well.
Do you have any thoughts about that? About the widespread non-feeling?
The response of so many people, when such deaths are brought up: Those crazy conspiracy theorists want to make something out of nothing.
In other words, the people are numbed down.
Trump has been charged once again. Totally trumped up charges. Those against him are often elated. They feel an intrained response.
But tin general, the people who know this is unjust do not erupt into outrage. Instead, from what I see, it’s a numbed down feeling. We have seen so much of this. It’s just one more blatant injustice.
That numbed down non-feeling - one of the things to be explored on the next Truth Summit: Navigating the Psy-Op Jungle. Sept 25-Oct 6.
There will also be an interview with a survivor of massive sexual abuse from infancy and of decades of MK Ultra mind control.

By the way, for another film about child sexual abuse, years in sex slavery, and finally rescue, there is the 2022 documentary, TRANCE. Important. But that film has not even recouped costs - perhaps in part because it, intentionally, does not bring alive the story, but explores how this happened and also how we could heal the nation. I will be recommending this film in the next Truth Summit. But you can rent or buy now. My position: we need many films, books, stories on this - including those that bring many of us more alive, as well as those documenting major factors, including rampant sexual abuse of children and mind control programs:

When I was in College, i worked part time as a Drug & alcohol Counselor.
I strongly recommend a book: The Vitamin Cure for Alcoholism by Abram Hoffer, M.D., Ph.D. and Andrew W. Saul., Ph.D. copyright 2009. Published by Basic Health Publications, Inc.
www.basichealthpub.com. Two weeks ago, I donated a copy of this book to the Honolulu Police Department. Many Police officers are struggling with alcoholism, due to stress dealing with Drunk Drivers (DUI) driving under the influence. Yesterday, I received a thank you card from the Chief Of Police -Honolulu Police Department.
