REPLAY: THOUGHT TALK #3 - NASTY AGENDAS. We're quick to recognize some nasty (untruth) agendas. Very dangerous: nasty agendas that are widely invisible, including to many "truthers."
Some nasty (anti-truth) agendas are easy for us to spot - like those out to silence the whole truth movement. We know of doctors with their licenses revoked for prescribing medication documented to save lives. We hear of Jordan Peterson “sentenced” to social media re-education (or something like that). I don’t need to go on.
There are other nasty agendas, including agendas we may accept - like I accepted the climate scam for years. (I’ve been very aware of it for years now.)
I was hit by this recently in a long conversation with someone who had suffered a huge loss - the death of someone she loved deeply - through a hospital’s horrific medical policies. We were clearly seeing the situation the same way.
And now, what is likely to get some heated comments. At some point, somehow the conversation turned to the situation in the Middle East - and I found myself listening to someone who sounded like a Hamas mouthpiece - she accepted their narrative, their agenda: the basically all-powerful Israeli army was indiscriminately massacring thousands upon thousands of women and children. I mentioned the hostages - why did Hamas not just give back the hostages and end the hostilities? She was not sure there were any hostages. Anyway, if Israel wanted them, it could just walk in and get them, the Israeli army was so powerful. Nothing that she said made any sense to me. Locating 100 people among hundreds of thousands - not easy. One doesn’t just walk in and do it. Most, if the other side has so much military power, it makes sense to do whatever possible to stop the hostilities. Read The Art of War - don’t fight a stronger enemy head-on.
I saw the same buying into the Hamas story today, in a headline: “Siege On Rafah Appears Imminent, Despite Protests From International Community.” No mention of my question: Why does not Hamas just surrender? Why not just hand over the hostages and surrender? Again, read The Art of War - don’t fight a stronger enemy head-on.
Here’s another case - in fact, this is the (less controversial) case that got me started on this topic.
Recently I came across one glowing eulogy after the other about journalist John Pilger. I was sent, and watched, an early video he did, on the Pol Pot-imposed massacre by starvation in Cambodia. I was impressed.
Then another of his videos appeared in my inbox. Words in the description stopped me. Gaza was described as something like “an open air prison.” There was a reference to how humiliating it was for Gazans to be subjected to security checks before any of them could enter Israel. With that, I knew something was amiss. I know a bit about why there is a wall protecting Israelis from unvetted entry into Israel by Gazans: the high number of murder-suicide attacks.
After the replay, more about John Pilger and what that brought up in me.
Now, THE REPLAY.
Nasty agendas many people accept without questioning:

AND NOW, MORE ABOUT THE CASE OF JOHN PILGER
I first heard of journalist John Pilger through Celia Farber’s very positive assessment right after his death at the end of 2023: "Real Journalists Are Agents of People." Celia Farber - caring smart courageous. She took on Fauci during the Aids scam - in fact I learned of the Aids scam from her. That cost her enormously in terms of a possible mainstream career - meaning, mainstream financial rewards. She also spoke out, on Swedish media, about the high percentage of rapes in Sweden being done by Muslims (I hope I have this information exactly right) - and the speaking out cost her all her left-leaning Swedish friends. So anyway, Celia Farber - someone I very much respect.
But then I got another piece on John Pilger (mentioned above) and my antennae went out - something not quite right going on. It was a reference to Gaza as almost “an open air prison.” No reference to the reasons for why Israel was protecting itself from easy entry by all people from Gaza - namely the large numbers of Israelis murdered by Gazan suicide murderers. I believe we all have the right to safety in our homes, including the country where we live. I looked for that article now - could not find it - but quickly came to another: “he sees the humiliation of Palestinians imposed on them at myriad checkpoints and with a permit system not dissimilar to apartheid South Africa's infamous pass laws.” Again, no reference to why the system is there - so very different from South Africa’s apartheid. But then, I found the original article, right on John Pilger’s own site: “routine of terror, day after day, has been the ruthless control of almost every aspect of their lives, as if they live in an open prison (italics and bolding mine)."
What could be wrong with this? Well, if I put a lock on my door to keep out unwanted intruders, is the rest of the world suddenly an open air prison?
There is ever so much more. Soon Paul Gregory (who has been very alert to shortcomings of Matt Ehret) sent Oliver Kamm’s detailed account of John Pilger’s extremely numerous dishonesties. The title of the piece: John Pilger was a charlatan and a fraudster. I am attaching a downloadable pdf, where Paul has kindly highlighted passages.

Something similar recently happened to me around a video someone did not appreciate on the many Islamic battles in contrast to the very few Crusader battles. In this case because Bill Warner did not accept that it was an inside job (“bombs in building”), then clearly the whole video was utterly worthless.
As it has turned out, 9/11 almost certainly was not an inside job - instead was the result of directed energy weapons. However this does not mean anything in terms of the number of Islamic vs Crusader battles.

GENERAL THOUGHTS
“He has an agenda.” “I know their agenda.” We all know, when we hear something like that, that the agenda is anything but good.
The German authorities who arranged for Reiner’s kidnapping, his being forcibly brought back to Germany - they definitely had an agenda. The German authorities who accepted a complaint against Reiner as criminal though it clearly was a civil matter - they definitely had an agenda. Viviane Fischer, when she tricked Reiner into not appearing at a Corona Committee meeting by claiming it was not happening, and then used that opportunity to make many allegations against him - she definitely had an agenda.
What do we mean if we claim someone has an agenda? It’s against the truth, against the facts. There’s the intent to harm, to impose someone’s will on someone else, against their will, and without just cause. Words like untrustworthy, deceitful, hidden, unspoken, evil, nefarious, underhanded, sly, mean come to mind.
But often it’s not quite like that.
A big concern of mine is agendas many people accept without questioning, agendas from people who believe they are on the side of good, and so the agenda (omitting mentioning some things, stressing others) is just, if they think about it at all, to strengthen something good.
Here’s what I would call an “agenda phrase” - meaning the individual using it wants me to believe something but closer examination would show something very different from what I am intended to believe. “It’s an open air prison.” Or even, the somewhat softer, “It’s almost like an open air prison.”

A question. What agendas have you noticed, questioned, fallen for?

Elsa, you are obviously misinformed on Gaza. It appears you endorse the genocide of over 28,000 citizen's mostly women & children. While I agree there should be a hostage exchange, it is obvious that the IDF has a Hannibal Doctrine and kill their own versus letting them be captured. So I don't hold out any hope for Israel negotiating in good faith. Here are a few article that will hopefully educate you on the ongoing genocide within Gaza by the IDF. These are posts at the news aggregator site sott.net.

I watched the entire stressful conversation between you and the other woman. How did Reiner Fuellmich get so overlooked?
