LOSSES, MORE LOSSES - and a Precious Find!! James Bacque's powerful documentation of the Americans and the French inducing the death of over 1 million German prisoners of war
The year: 1991. I read a short piece on Other Losses, a book published 2 years earlier. It documented that over one million German prisoners of war were systematically made to die by mandated withholding of food, water, shelter - after their surrender. The author, a Canadian, was denounced, by some people, as a Holocaust denier - though there is no Holocaust denial in the book. He was also denounced as not a proper historian - though he uses (and documents) records publicly available.
I was so struck by the short piece that, for almost 2 decades, it became part of my classroom readings (with the college taking care of copyright).
The year, 2023. I watch an interview by Reiner Fuellmich with William Toel. It is the only interviewee to whom I am allergic - schmarmy is the word that comes to mind. He repeatedly self-deprecates himself softly as ugly in comparison to his beautiful wife, rather than giving information on his life to date. He repeatedly extols his love for German families though he does not speak German and gives no evidence for having spent much if any time with German families.
So why am I mentioning this person?
He brought up the deaths of close to one million German prisoners of war by Americans and French after the war, in their prisoner of war camps. That is, every fifth prisoner of war died - which, as Other Losses makes clear, is 10 times as many German soldiers as died in all the years of the war on the Western front.
He also ties this to Bletchley Park, where code breaking was done, and where he claims the scheme was hatched, to destroy German morale through this mass induced death.
I am grateful thatI this brought me to the memory of Other Losses . I found the article, and when I searched online, I had another huge reason for gratitude. The author, James Bacque, and several other people cared enough about the findings that, in 2015, a film was produced - Other Losses.
I had it open on my computer for a couple of months, am grateful that I did not close the page - because last night I started watching. I was incredibly impressed.
I strongly suggest you watch it too. Links are at the end.
Something huge (yet one more huge reality) has been hidden from most people. We hear of the Holocaust frequently. Here over one million German prisoners of war died - and about 10-15 million Germans disappeared. Hardly anyone has any awareness.
Of course the evidence destroys the story - the “narrative” - of the good Americans and evil Germans.
The evidence - according to both the book and film, where documents are cited and shown - has the American, British and Russian leaders colluding together to slow kill Germans - not just German prisoners of war - through starvation, through withholding food.
The film also proves once again how easy it is to get the vast majority to go along with orders - here the American and French soldiers.
Again, please watch the film. You can scroll down for the links. Or wait - I have one other major point to make.

Before the links to the film, a few words on the importance of a Community of Awareness, versus individual awareness. Other Losses, as documented in the film, caused massive individual awareness in many countries when it came out. Some people even believed this book would lead to a general shift in the understanding of what happened at the end of World War II.
That did not happen.
I hold that one reason for this is that there was no Community of Awareness committed to the evidence presented in the book and film. Individual awarenesses are easy to fade away, through the ongoing iteration of the narrative - and that is what happened - except for those intensely committed to getting out the truth, like the author, James Bacque.
I remember that something similar happened with the release of Not Evil, Just Wrong, which shreds Al Gore’s An Inconvenient Truth. A huge immediate outcry. But now, a bit over a decade later, how many have even heard of Not Evil, Just Wrong?
Note: I do see that Not Evil, Just Wrong is one film in the body of works that bring together climate science against the mainstream climate narrative.
What a group knows, I hold, is different from what an individual knows. It is amplified - even, say, with a tiny religious group or tiny political group.
So I am launching a Truth Tellers Community where there is a Group Knowing, a shared knowing, a safe space for knowing and sharing. Not because we blindly accept - but because we do not acquiesce to a narrative.
What good does that do?
Thee is something about Community, about people gathered together, best in person but also amazing online. We are more than the sum of how many we are. We are part of a Community Connection.
Anyway, recognizing the power of a Community of Awareness is one reason for launching the Truth Teller Community. So many of us are too isolated in our knowledge, without a good solid community.
This was, I believe, part of the power of the Corona Committee - the content of the interviews, week after week, gave many people a kind of group consciousness. about the information

And then, it’s great that you read this post, and know this information. You become a Knower, in some loose way connected to all other Knowers of this information.
That was what I did with the short piece I read in 1991, at exactly the time I was putting together readings for a course. I had my individual knowing. I passed on a glimmer of this knowing to students, year after year.
But this did not become General Knowing, Group Knowing.

And now, the film
OTHER LOSSES
One great thing: there are many uploadings. I am listing several links to the film on Bitchute, and then giving the YT link. I appreciate the many links, so that even if Youtube decides this not an acceptable film, it will be more difficult to make it inaccessible.
So here, various uploadings on Bitchute -

Was Eisenhower Jewish? I had no idea. So I went and searched:
On February 1, 1953, just 10 days after his inauguration, Eisenhower was baptized and welcomed into the National Presbyterian Church by the Rev. Edward Elson. Eisenhower remains the only president ever to have been baptized while in office, and his work to link faith and American identity has influenced political debate in the country for half a century since.
https://www.history.com/news/eisenhower-billy-graham-religion-in-god-we-trust
Eisenhower, growing up in Abilene, Kansas along with his four brothers, was nurtured in his parents’ (David and Ida) Jehovah’s Witness faith …
https://readingreligion.org/9780802878731/the-religious-journey-of-dwight-d-eisenhower/
Although some historical accounts claim Eisenhower was raised a Jehovah’s Witness, most presidential scholars now believe his family was Mennonite.
https://www.history.com/this-day-in-history/president-eisenhower-signs-in-god-we-trust-into-law
So it seems Eisenhower was designated Jewish (probably by someone who did not bother doing any research) due to the person’s anti-Semitism.
And at long last, the link to the film on YT:

I just finished listening to and mostly watching this film. I just cannot watch some things, they stay burned into my mind and it is too much. I can listen to it, though, and having never heard about this aspect of the aftermath of WW2 means that I can have a larger world view, and this really matters. I very much appreciate you bringing this to our attention.
I stumbled across Other losses, when I was on a journey to understand why there was such hatred towards the Jews.
A lot of what I stumbled across, caused me some distress, as it didn't tie up with what I "knew" to be true.
We were the good guys and the Germans/ Japanese were the bad guys. Simple.
Actually, not so much.
I always used the phrase "history is written by the victors", but the growing realisation of what that actually meant, was horrifying.
The historian David Irving, was constantly vilified for his written works, yet based them entirely on official documented records.
The truth it seems, has never been allowed.
