REPLAY: THE CREATIVITY CAFE. With a special guest - artist Sabine Obermuller.
On February 3, 2024, there was a special guest, Sabine Obermuller. A review of her work was entitled: Journey to an unknown destination. The wind blows in many of her pieces. Often there are two figures.
Where does the inspiration for the pieces come from? Sabine does not know. She just knows that sometimes she feels compelled to create them.
When I look at them, I wonder: what happened before what I’m seeing, and what will happen next? Sabine doesn’t have any idea. She doesn’t know the story. She just catches a moment.
There is feeling. But even that is not clear.
Sabine’s art does not follow what is popular in the art world in the West - non-figurative work. It actually does not follow any school.
Here is the REPLAY of this week’s Creativity Cafe - art work by Sabine Obermuller, poetry from Margaret Sussman and Elsa, plus thoughts on creativity in our lives:

THE CREATIVITY CAFE. For our creativity - yours, mine, everyone’s. It’s also a place for you just to come relax and enjoy.
It can be for something recent. For something from long ago. It can be our own work. It can be a poem or painting that means a lot to us.
It’s a place for us to enjoy each other’s creativity.
Welcome!!
